Hey, I’m Ricky! An award-winning magician of The Magic Circle, CEO of the Confident Club, speaker & host of the Unlocked podcast. Now, I know that all seems quite fancy, but when it comes down to it…I’m really just a cheeky guy who loves to make people happy!
I’m based in Bourne, Lincolnshire and I live with my recently married Wife (That still feels strange saying that!), my beautiful daughter Alma and our fur-baby Rory!
I have been performing magic for over 15 years and you’ll either see me performing & hosting weddings, parties, keynotes and other special occasions across the country. I absolutely love being a magician and I love to make people happy and smile, I believe that magic is a great way to make any occasion unforgettable.
My magic is fun, cheeky and light hearted, but above all I like to make sure that whenever i am performing magic everyone is having a great time.
I started out my career in magic by showcasing magic tricks to the general public on YouTube. After time my audience quickly grew and my YouTube channel has over 160,000 views.
With this in mind I decided to join a local magic club to develop my skills further and from 2018-2020, I am very proud to say that I am have served as The President of the Peterborough Society of Magicians.
Later on, in my magic career, I developed my skills further and I am now very proud to be a member of the world's most prestigious magic society, The Magic Circle.
I also competed in a national competition "WE'VE GOT TALENT," in which I competed against 20 other talent acts across the country and became a semi-finalist winner. Over the last few years, I have also been nominated for a few awards in the Wedding Industry Awards. TWIA is the only regional and national client voted awards in the wedding industry and it was set up to recognise excellent wedding suppliers and to help couples find the best suppliers. From these awards, I am very proud to become the 2019 Regional Finalist, 2020 Regional Finalist, 2020 Highly Commended Award , 2021 Regional Winner & 2021 Highly Commended Award and more recently the 2022 Regional Finalist & 2022 Highly Commended Award for my wedding magic.
As well as hosting, speaking & performing I also have a podcast called UNLOCKED in which I share my journey to help others UNLOCK the best version of themselves. I talk to experts, authors, and thought leaders about mental health, mindset and how to unlock the best version of ourselves to live an extraordinary life, take a listen below
When I am not performing magic, I love spending time at home with my family going on adventures to explore the world.
